I did more of a photo dump this time with less editing and cropping – I figure y’alls can take what you want and make your own editing choices! More photos to come.
Thank you South Chicago Wheelmen for a challenging course. But general question, why do we have “official photographers” who don’t take photos of our races ?
Well I can tell you the the excellent Nathan and Morley of snowy mountain photography are taking a well deserved vacation from a very busy summer. Can’t speak for the others though.
Also, sometimes life happens and our series sponsors have other obligations that take them away from our little bike races that actually pay their mortgage.
Most awesome awesomer awesomest course today again! The changes made it even better, and those barriers were a game changer the way a solid CX course should be! Great job! My favorite…
Men’s Cat 4/5
Some photos from Day 1. Mostly Cat 1/2 Men & Women with some Cat 3 Men and Cat 3/4 Women sprinkled in.
These are awesome, thanks for sharing! Can I use a few of these on social media with attribution (and how would you like me to do that)?
Sure, glad you like them. Looked like a fun course, too bad I missed Sunday. Where will you post (just curious)?
You can give photo credit to my photo handle JAR of photos. Instagram and Twitter usernames are jarofphotos
I just wanted to use a photo on my personal facebook and instagram. I’ll be sure to tag you. Thanks a lot!
Though I didn’t make the cut, great photos!!!
I’ve just watched a few first minutes of both races. Nice riding!
Thanks for sharing!
some random pictures from Bicycle Heaven.
Anyone happen to pick up a black windbreaker with Modelo screenprints after the Cat 4/5 race? No good excuses, just forgot to grab it.
Will tomorrow’s course mirror the one from today? This might have been posted somewhere but, if so, I missed it.
Check back in the morning. Depending on weather conditions overnight SCW may adjust some of course.
Course was awesome! Looking forward to tomorrow…
Forgot to ask, did the short barrier parallel to start/finish get pushed into the ground, or did that disappear during our race?
Saw a couple guys smash into it, broke the stakes so they had to pull it out.
