    1) Title says Melas and not Wheeling 2) Course was awesome, and the return of the lower double barriers was a welcome sight, and now one of my favorite features of any course design. Tough but fun course. Thanks!

Agreed, the lower barriers are the way to go

The low barriers are for the old dudes. Let’s get the real barriers back.

Wall barriers are for those who can’t bunnyhop.

Which one of the 4 people that can hop the tall barriers is BRB? Hmmm

Did anyone find a psimet carbon front wheel with a challenge limus tubular team edition tire? Accidentally left in the parking lot by the field house. Belongs to Beverly Bike. Please call 312-515-0738.

Many thanks for a great race. The shorter course for 9-14 is awesome. I had 12 kids racing and the shorter course makes a huge difference. Post race I had young kids who were so happy they made three laps. Thanks!

A little late to realize this due to some teammate miscommunication-I lost a pair of black and grey SealSkinz gloves last week at Pheasant run. Did anyone who was there on Sunday find these?

Pre-ride reminder for States. Do it. Start around turn one when Officals say so (either when early finishes or winner crosses line). Never pass active racers (actual rule). Please don’t cross finish line, as USAC officials are already writing down every number and One2Go videos every rider, and it may slow results.

Young Shredders race at 11:22am and are strongly encouraged to stage at 10:10am by turn one. Remember to exit course before finish.

Pro tip. Study every corner. Not a social lap. Redo hard spots repeatedly as maybe there is more value to learning the tricky part over doing a whole lap. Everybody must be off course before start of next event. You will be given the same privilege in your race (clean course). Never on course during a race unless you’re in race, pre-riding properly, or crossing at a designated crossing.

Great day of racing, thank you Garner crew and volunteers! That back muddy section was a nice surprise.

We found a pair of folding chairs in the field (w/2 small barriers) – see our Main Street/Sasquatch tent at Montrose.

We still have uncollected prize money, which is great, cuz we get to give it to a great group over at West Town Bikes – presented at Montrose. You have to send me a note BEFORE Montrose to still be able to collect. [email protected]
    Thanks again.

Cat 4 – saddle malfunction in the first lap sent me to the pit. Thanks for the help SRAM.

Cat 4/5 – with second lap mock finish… Unfortunately in the confusion some folks cut the course. It’s amazing how well things normally run in the chaos that is the 4/5’s.

I left black jacket (size small) next to starting line before cat 3 race. Couldn’t find it after the race.
If anyone took it by accident, please let me know!
    Thanks!
