Thanks all for coming to our little party. I hope you all enjoyed the course, the beer garden, the Svens, and our awesome community of bike racers and families and spectators.
Big kudos to Athletico and Finch’s for stretching us out and providing recovery beverages.
Great job by the officials keeping everything running smoothly and to Kenny, as always, for being the Voice of Chicago Cyclocross.
Finally, a huge thank you to my xXx teammates for all the hard work. It’s beed a busy week of fundraising for World Bicycle Relief, the Svens, and the race. Time for a much-needed break from all the work and to just get on our bikes and race.
Now if no one minds I’m going go take a bath in Calamine lotion and hibernate for a few days.
Thanks for a great day. Only my second CX season here since moving from Australia, and look forward to each round. Hope to get the full season in this year and get to meet more great people involved in this series.
Does anyone have a pic of the podium from the 1,2,3 race? One of riders was wearing a Cycology jersey and would like to share it with the brand. thank you!
In the future it would be great if people posting picture galleries would include a blurb if it’s okay to use pictures of themselves on social media or personal/non-commercial use. Obviously not the case for any professional galleries, but anything on flickr or facebook is technically still protected even if you don’t mean to care. Thanks.

Hey guys I’m missing a black duffle bag that could have been left kinda by the bathrooms. Contents were just some stakes, a rubber mallet, and there may or not have been 200,000 in unmarked dollar bills.
Nothing valuable, mostly sentimental, as my good friend DB Cooper gave it to me back in the day (that dude could bunny hop!)
I will give a reward of 1 dollar and 2 high fives (your hand of choice) to the person that returns it safely, no questions asked. Dead or alive don’t matter.
Is the bag two tone? If so, what is the other color? Does the bag include tie down straps? If so, what color are they? Does the bag include a small bag for stakes? If so, what color is THAT bag? Fourth bonus question if needed.
Mike I’m fairly certain that Kenny is jesting and that you provided the answer to his fourth question. We noticed the bag while we were legally drinking some beers, enjoying the beautiful evening, and reflecting on a great day of racing…Thank you xXx Racing! The bag was turned into Kenny so it should be safe and sound. Cheers and see you in a few weeks!
Hi, Mike Page. I have your bag. I’ll try to track you and Zeno down through social media or through the CCC team. Email me at kmoneill9 -at- yahoo -dot- com. I’ll reach out to the CCC team in case you don’t see this.
After we finished the last of the course teardown after the Svens clinic on Sunday at Caldwell, I was one of the last two people to leave, and I spotted the abandoned bag near the building with the bathrooms. I went to get my car, threw the bag in my hatchback, and then promptly forgot about it until yesterday. Just FYI, it had not been turned in to Kenny. It was just left on the side walk near the building when I found it.

Also since I hopped on here let me take the opportunity to praise XXX on the excellent course. One of, if not my favorite on the series.

I said no questions asked!!
Sounds like the bag is still MIA. The bag had “champion youth” embroidered on the side. Please let us know if anyone comes across it.
Thanks.

Yes, what Geoff said. The unmarked bills didn’t survive though.
