Tuesday CCC Updates

July 21, 2015

Pactimo

– Back for another year the CCC will again have Pactimo Leaders Jerseys… this year with a women’s cut version for the ladies.

– In case you missed it 2 weeks ago the 2015 and 2016 CCC series will be Powered by SRAM.

– All 11 events in the 2015 CCC will have One2Go timing, lap times, and new for 2015 real time LiveLynx Results. Please make sure to search for LiveLynx Results and not just LiveLynx… just trust us on that one. Because of the increased accuracy of having a camera running all day long the series is also increasing the self imposed 100 rider field limits of a few categories. No this is not a money grab, we’re just opening up a few more spots for the fields that tend to sell out on BikeReg.com so there are fewer waitlists to deal with.

– Speaking of BikeReg, the individual race directors are working on getting their races permitted with USAC and we’ll have pre-reg pages up on BikeReg sometime around the end of July or beginning of August and open pre-reg for most if not all events at the beginning of September.

– All 11 events will also include SRAM Neutral Race Support as well as Kenny Labbe announcing all day long.

– Speaking of all day long, the CCC series directors thought long and hard and tried to figure out a better race day schedule, but without any luck. There are just too many people in too many categories who want to race CX from September to December where we have less daylight to work with. Despite a few predictions to the contrary we think last year’s schedule worked as well as any could have. Considering the new staging changes (see below) and raising of field limits we feel leaving the race day schedule unchanged from 2014 will work fine again.

– Speaking of same schedules, the same 11 events from the 2014 season will be back for 2015 with the exception of Carpenter Park. Due to construction at Carpenter Park the crew at Main St. Bikes and the Sasquatch Squadron are temporarily moving the event 3.5 miles to the West to Randall Oaks Park. Race director Jeff Provisor tells us Randall Oaks has more space and even though there may not be a corn field (or Chubby Spud) the racing will be just as rad. We’ll update the series Google Map soon.

– No changes to the series minimum purse. Some events may increase payouts if they have the means, but given the scoring upgrades, neutral support, announcing, etc… and the fact that entry fee prices have remained the same for at least the last 5 or 6 years, all riders in the series are getting more bang for their buck than ever before. Remember payouts for the Men & Women Cat 1/2/3 races already scale up with the overall number of pre-reg’d riders.

– If you are interested in becoming a 2015 CCC Series Sponsor please review our 2015 proposal and contact us at [email protected].

– And finally… we did some spreadsheet magic (see Hopkins and Montrose, all races to follow eventually) and found that CrossResults.com rankings are actually very indicative of where riders should be staged during the entire season, regardless of CCC points. That being said this is still a series with series standings so it wouldn’t make sense not to use them at all. We initially considered staging the first 2 rows by CCC points for the whole season, then all others by CXR rankings, but then we thought that staging mid/downstate riders no better than the 3rd row at Montrose didn’t make sense either. Since riders good enough to win the state championship could probably win from the 4th row (see 35 seconds in) we decided staging the first row by CCC points and all other rows by CXR rankings for the entire season was a good compromise. Long story short, if you’re fast but not racing the entire series and earning CCC series points (traveling to far off lands, injury, ate too much ice cream, etc) you’ll be staged no worse than the 2nd row. Also CrossResuts rankings already handle DNF’s so those of you who have asked over the years to have your worst placing thrown out kinda, sorta get what you’ve been asking for. The Series Rules & FAQs page will be updated soon.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

SRAM Becomes the 2015 Chicago Cyclocross Cup Title Sponsor

After 11 years of continuous growth, the Chicago Cyclocross Cup (CCC) has announced bicycle component innovator SRAM will become the 2015 series title sponsor.

“We are excited to welcome SRAM as the 2015 CCC Series Title Sponsor,” said series director Jason Knauff. “SRAM is the cycling industry equivalent of Chicago’s hometown team and it makes complete sense for everyone involved. We greatly appreciate all of our series sponsors, including last year’s title sponsor The Pony Shop, and look forward to improving the ‘Best Amateur CX Series in the Country’ even more.”

Headquartered in Chicago, SRAM engineers bike components that are depended on by many cyclocross racers, including both the men’s and women’s current U23 national champions, the men’s current 23+ national champion, as well as countless Elite, Masters, and Junior racers. Respected for pushing the industry standard, SRAM’s support allows the CCC to raise the bar again by introducing three new features to unify the eleven race series.

One2Go Event Services, the premier timing and results company in the US, will be present at all races this autumn, providing lightning-fast and accurate race results, including lap times. A few individual events used One2Go’s services in the past, but this season all races will see electronic timing for every field. One2Go will also debut LiveLynx Results for CX, where anyone with an Internet connection can see lap times and standings in real time.

SRAM Neutral Race Support (NRS) will be providing neutral support at all of the 2015 CCC races. Jose Alcala and his SRAM NRS team are well known in the cycling community for fast problem solving and mechanical expertise – getting athletes back in the race, or just to the start, when they need help the most.

And last but certainly not least, the CCC welcomes Kenny Labbé as the official voice of the CCC, announcing at all races. A former member of the US Postal Service professional cycling team, Kenny’s wealth of experience in competitive cycling and deep knowledge of the region’s cycling landscape are embedded within his lively and insightful race commentary.

The Chicago Cyclocross Cup 2015 season takes place between September 20th and December 6th around the greater Chicagoland area. The CCC is the largest CX series in the Midwest, drawing top competition from neighboring states while fostering new racers in a family friendly environment.

Tuesday CCC Updates

January 13, 2015

– Congrats to everyone who traveled to Austin, TX for USAC CX National Championships. Waaaay too many names and results to mention here but check out full results here and collegiates here. BTB TV also has full replays of Sunday’s Monday’s junior and elite races. Congratulations to defending champions Katie Compton and Jeremy Powers who again rode to commanding wins in their races.

– The cyclocross season is essentially done here in the good ‘ole USA, but there’s still quite a bit of racing to be had in Europe. USA Cycling will announce (soon) its selection of riders for CX World Championships, which take place Jan 31 and Feb 1 in Tabor, Czech Republic. Say it with us Tah-bore, not Tae-bor.

– And finally, the CCC site will be going into hibernation for the winter but we’ll have occasional updates as needed. We’d like to say again we had a great time again this season and look forward see you all in ~9 months!

Tuesday CCC Updates

December 24, 2014

– A day late, but hey… its the Holidays!

sweetjustice

– We know everyone had a great time last Saturday at Afterglow – A Cyclocross Race, hosted by the Chicago Cuttin’ Crew. This event is more about fun than race results, but more than a few riders are still racing strong in preparation for CX Nationals in Austin, TX in just 2 weeks! In any event, full results are here and here.

– More importantly than fun or results, Afterglow helps raise funds for West Town Bikes and Blackstone Bikes, two fantastic youth cycling programs based here in Chicago. Thank you, thank you, thank you to all the individuals who donated, all the parents who donated their CCC junior entry fee reimbursements ($1,000 total which the Chicago Cyclocross Cup matched), and the Pony Shop and ROBOTS <3 who both donated >$1,000 to the event. At the end of the day the Chicagoland CX community raised >5,000 total for West Town and Blackstone. This is fantastic and great way to end the Chicago CX season.

– Speaking of donations, the Chicago Cyclocross Cup has been collecting money for World Bicycle Relief throughout the season and on Monday wrote a check for $350 to WBR. In the month of December all WBR donations are matched by a wealthy member of the Chicago cycling community, so that is $700 going to WBR, enough for 5+ bikes. Again, well done everyone!

– After all the racing and donating on Saturday we weren’t done yet and the CCC (Chicago Cyclocross Cup not the Chicago Cuttin’ Crew) gave away even more awards, prizes, and gear on Sunday at the CCC Awards Party at EJ’s Place. Some tasty food, a few bottles of cheer, and pretty much everyone went home with something, not just the series winners. Thanks again to The Pony Shop, SRAM, ABUS Mobile SecuirtySheila Moon, Yojimbo’s Garage, Spy SunglassesSmart Bike PartsSpin Doctor Cyclewerks & Red Writing for supplying the gear.

– CX racing around the country, and the world, still isn’t done yet for this season. Good luck and safe travels to everyone heading to Austin, TX for USAC CX Nationals January 7-11. And Cyclocross continues in Europe until the end of January, culminating with CX World Championships in Tabor, Czech Republic Jan 31/Feb 1. We haven’t heard of any Chicagoland riders going, but CX Masters World Championships are January 3rd and 4th in Gossau, Switzerland.

– And finally… we here at the CCC are very thankful and feel grateful to have shared another CX season with everyone. Sure its a bit of work to put the series together every year, but the memories and friends we gain every year, and the ones we keep from year to year to year to year to year are more than worth it. So whether you are celebrating Christmas, Chanukah, Kwanzaa, Festivus, Diwali, or nothing at all over the next few days, remember this time of year is all about friends and families. And as Newt Cole said way back in 2009 (at 9:25, but seriously, rewatch the entire video), the CCC is all about the people, and we couldn’t agree more. Happy Holidays!

– It looks and sounds like everyone had a good time at MWRCXC and a few Chicagoland CCC’ers even hit the podium (of course) before hitting the beer garden (of course). Congratulations to everyone who traveled and raced. Results are not yet online.

– We’re not done racing here in Chicago though… Afterglow – A Cyclocross Race is this Saturday in Douglas Park hosted by the cool kids at the Chicago Cuttin’ Crew. Prepare yourselves for the INSANEDEMONIUM 2014! Online pre-reg closes Thursday night on BikeReg.com.

– Then on Sunday we wrap it all up (quite literally) at the 2014 CCC Awards Party at EJ’s place in Skokie. Everyone is invited to attend but please purchase your tickets ahead of time so we know how many people to expect. And given the prize donations that have been coming in from The Pony Shop, SRAM, Sheila Moon, ABUS, Yojimbo’s, SmartBikeParts, Spin Doctors, Spy, Main Street Bikes, and Red Writing we’re pretty sure everyone will go home with something.

– And finally… Waaay back in August we announced Junior racers would have to pay entry fees but (if they qualified) could request an entry fee reimbursement at the end of the season. We will obviously still honor those requests but a very generous and forward thinking “cutting” edge parent asked if they could donate their child’s reimbursement to the West Town and Blackstone youth programs, which we are more than happy to do. Then the Pony Shop caught wind of the idea and their entire junior team donated their reimbursements to West Town and Blackstone… even before winning the Afterglow awesomeness award. So juniors and your parents, please contact us at ChicagoCrossCup at gmail this week to let us know how you would like your reimbursement handled. Thanks and Happy Holidays!

– Thanks again to Ten27 Cycling Club, Spidermonkey Cycling, and all the volunteers who made the 2014 Illinois State Cyclocross Championship at Montrose Harbor a success. The Schneider sisters Skylar and Samantha came down from Wisconsin to lift the pace in the Women Cat 1/2/3 race with Skylar leading Samantha across the line at the finish. Sydney Guagliardo (Verdigris-Village CX) wasn’t far behind in 3rd to round out the podium and also claim the state championship jersey and seal up the CCC series overall title. In the Men’s Cat 1/2/3 race David Lombardo (Verdigris-Village CX) road a smart and fast race to a solo win and also his first state championship jersey. Ian Haupt from WI was 2nd and David Reyes rounded out the podium adding to his lead in the CCC series overall which he had already locked up 2 weeks prior at Melas CX. Possibly the most dramatic race of the day was the Single Speed category in which the top 3 men in the CCC overall battled it out the entire race and then came down to a 3-up sprint at the finish line with Lucas Seibel getting the best of Mike Conroy and Peter Chrapkowski (who sewed up the CCC overall). All three riders then jumped into the Cat 1/2/3 race later in the day.

– Congratulations to all competitors on some great, spicy racing. Full results are posted here and here and lap times provided by One2Go Event Services are here.

– Final CCC series overall standings are here. We’ll be cleaning up a few data points (like missing team names, etc) later this week.

– This coming Friday is the last day to sign up for ProBike Express‘ services for CX Nationals in Austin, TX. Don’t miss out and “Travel like you train”.

– Next week the only CX action near to Chicagoland is the Miller Chill race in Bloomington, IL and the warm up race on Saturday and the MWRCXC on Sunday outside Grand Rapids, MI. Good luck to all CCC folks heading South and/or East.

– The following week on Saturday 12/20/14 Chicagoland CX racing concludes with Afterglow – A Cyclocross Race at Douglas Park.

– And then finally the CCC Awards Party (its a party, NOT a banquet) wraps it all up on Sunday 12/21/14 at EJ’s Place in Skokie. We’ll be awarding the series overall cowbells and prizes but everyone is invited, not just overall winners. Come hang out and nab yourself a sweet door prize.

– And finally… the CCC site will wind down on the next few weeks. We’ll continue to post Tuesday updates through USA CX Nationals and they sporadically as need. We here at the CCC would again like to thank everyone for being a part of the 2015 series. We had a ton of fun and we hope you did too!

Tuesday CCC Updates

December 2, 2014

– We sincerely hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and extended weekend with their family, friends, loved ones, significant others, good book, barista, iPad, or whomever you chose to spend your time with. Now that Black Friday and Cyber Monday are over… back to the cyclocross!

– Looks like Psimet Racing put on another great NORGE Ski Jump Cyclocross event out in Fox River Grove. Full results are here and here.

– Up next, the Grand Finalé, the Big Enchilada, the Taco Supreme, Chicken Grilled Stuffed Burrito with a side of guacamole and extra hot sauce (hint hint, wink wink)… the CCC finishes up this coming weekend at Montrose Harbor in downtown Chicago with the Illinois State Cyclocross Championships. Online pre-reg closes Thursday night, and a few categories have already filled up, but please pre-reg. One2Go Event Services will be on hand for scoring and lap times. We’ll have more podiums to present than at any other race, and there are still quite a few CCC categories overall winners yet to be determined… and we all know anything can happen at Montrose. It doesn’t look like we’ll be getting that foot of snow Newt Cole & Jim Brady have been hoping for all year, but temps will be in the 30’s all day. So bundle up, bring your A-Game, make a day out of it, and enjoy the last race of the series. Most information is already here and we’ll have the usual course preview at the usual time on Thursday.

– The Ten27 Cycling Club and Spidermonkey Cycling crews are still looking for a bunch of volunteers to make the Montrose event happen smoothly. If you would like to help out, please take a look at which shifts still need to be covered here and get in contact with volunteer coordinator John Castro.

– This just in from ProBike Express… Greetings everyone! As we prepare to head down south to CX Nationals in Austin, TX we need confirmation from those of you in the Midwest if you if want a service or support package. We request those wanting transport or on-site service, please register asap as this will help us manage a hard number of supported athletes. We are only taking the first 50 riders as we want to offer this to those who want something more than average! Last day to register is December 12th, by 6pm MST for any PBE service, not just transportWe need 10 more people to sign up for transport/service from Chicagoland. Thats IT! There have been many people who’ve talked about it, and now is the time to pull the trigger. Drop off dates and times will be announced soon after PBE registration closes on 12/12/14.

– The MidWest Regional CX Championships (MWRCXC) are next weekend on Sunday 12/14/14 near Grand Rapids, MI.

– What would a party be without an afterparty? Registration for Afterglow – A Cyclocross Race on 12/20/14 is open on BikeReg.com.

– And finally… the 2014 CCC Awards Party is scheduled for Sunday 12/21/14 at EJ’s Place in Skokie, were we’ll be awarding series overall awards. You don’t need to be a series overall winner to attend, the food is fantastic, we’ll have tons of door prizes, and EJ’s has a wood burning fireplace (and a bar)… which are all really, really good reasons to come hang out with us one last time on a Sunday afternoon. Please save the date and pre-reg here so we know how many people to expect.

– Thanks again to Chris Henning, Ted Berger, the entire Northbrook Garner Cycling Club and Flatlandia crews, and volunteers for anther great Melas CX Basin Racin’ event. We had unseasonably (but thankfully) warm temperatures and some rain to give the CCC it’s first sloppy race of the season. It was no surprise that experienced racers Emma Swartz (Wheel & Sprocket) and Joseph Maloney (KS Energy Service/Team Wisconsin) won the elite races. Sydney Guadliardo (Verdigris-Village CX) and Sarah Szefi (PSIMET Racing) rounded out the women’s podium with Swartz while Alexander Martin (Revolution Cycles) and Michael Dutczak (South Chicago Wheelmen) joined Maloney on the men’s podium. Full results are here and CCC Overall standings are here.

– Next up the CCC takes a week off but PSIMET Racing keeps the CX party going with NORGE Ski Jump Cyclocross this coming SUNDAY 11/30/14. Online pre-reg closes tomorrow (Wednesday) night.

– The following weekend the CCC heads into the city of Chicago to finish up where is always does at Montrose Harbor at the 2014 Illinois Cyclocross Championships hosted by the Ten27 Cycling Club and Spidermonky Cycling. We’ll have more details next week but expect all the greatness you’ve come to know that happens at Montrose.

– Get your 2014 CCC Series t-shirts and beer coozies here.

– Even thinking about going to CX Nationals in Austin, TX? Talk to Chandler and the guys at ProBike Express.

– This year 10 of the 16 CCC Series Overall titles will be decided at Montrose. That’s more fields than any other in the past which just goes to show the level of competition you all have brought to the series this year. That’s not to take anything away from the 6 racers who have already locked up their series overall titles though. So please join us in congratulating the following:
– Masters 55+ – Gregory Anderson (Spin Doctor Cyclewerks CX Team)
– Masters 65+ – Albert Weigel (Verdigris-Village CX)
– Junior 15-18 Boys – Juan Gonzalez (Bloomington Cycle Racing Team)
– Women Cat 4 – Mary Randall (ROBOTS <3)
– Women Cat 3 – Kae Takeshita (Verdigris-Village CX)
– Cat 1/2/3 – David Reyes (Heritage Race Club)

– And finally… as we all pause to give thanks this coming Thursday and eat ourselves into collective food comas, the CCC would like to say we are especially thankful for a great many things… you the riders, our race promoters, USAC officials, First Aid medics, volunteers, press officers, race announcers, mechanics, parents, children, brothers, sisters, husbands, wives, significant others, hecklers, and many, many more we know we are forgetting. But when you hear the words “anytime between now and the next 30 seconds” outside BestBuy at 4am on Friday morning… remember the CCC has 35 series sponsors that help to make our little weekend parties happen. Almost all of our series sponsors are local, many of whom are out there racing with us, including bike shop owners, wheel builders, mobile security manufacturersclothing manufacturerssunglass manufacturers, car dealerships, hydration/nutrition suppliers, lawyers, real estate brokerspersonal trainers, coaches, IT consultants, automobile insurance agents, creative designers, and lest we forget photographers. So when you are thinking about purchasing gifts this coming holiday season or planning out personal/business expenses for 2015, please consider spending some of your hard earned cash dollars with these businesses. Happy Thanksgiving!!!

– Another great double weekend at the Hilton Indian Lakes Resort hosted by the South Chicago Wheelmen. Well you asked for it and you got it. We finally had some real cyclocross weather this weekend at ILR. Saturday’s race temps were down in the teens for most of the day. Our elite podiums consisted of Sydney Guagliardo (Verdigris-Village) who got her first (and second) win of the series followed by Corrie Karas and Kelli Richter (PSIMET). Meanwhile in the men’s race Dan Teaters (Wheel & Sprocket) won followed by series leader David Reyes (Heritage) and Maxx Hall (Verdigris-Village).

Sunday was an entirely different day after snow blanketed the course Saturday night and the track became extremely wet and slippery throughout the day with riders wiping out all over the course. Our podiums for the elite women were Sydney Guagliardo (Verdigris-Village) for her 2nd win of the weekend, Kelli Richter (PSIMET) and Emily Elbers (Marian). For the men, local road pro Brandon Feehery took the top step racing for his school Lindenwood in a super close finish edging out Saturday’s winner Dan Teaters (Wheel & Sprocket) in the second to last turn, with David Lombardo (Verdigris-Village) in third.  Special shout out to Kenny Labbe for keeping the energy high throughout the cold, snowy, and windy weekend.

– Full results are on USAC here and CrossResults.com Saturday and SundaySeries overall standings are here.

– Just in case you’ve been living under a rock, John Gatto has been producing some great videos of each CCC event from a different perspective. Check out ILR Saturday and Sunday.

– Next up the CCC heads closer to the city of Chicago in Prospect Heights for Melas CX Basin Racin’. The weather looks delightful so get your bikes into a LBS for service now!

– Not this weekend but next weekend the CCC takes a break to eat tofukey and cranberry dressing but you can still get your CX fix. The crew from Psimet will host Norge Ski Jump Cyclocross on SUNDAY 11/30/14. Gobble Gobble!

– Then on Sunday 12/7/14 the CCC finishes up at Montrose Harbor at the Illinois State CX Championships. We’ll have lots more details for Montrose in the next few weeks, but the rad guys and gals at the Chicago Cuttin’ Crew have already committed to providing podium medals for the top 3 Single Speed Women (who will still be racing with the men). Also, no categories at Montrose have filled yet, so if you end up on a waitlist and then don’t get to race its your own fault.

– Paul Warloski of Milwaukee Bicycle Company will be at Melas CX Basin Racin’ Sunday with the MBC Mettle, a steel cross bike that Cyclocross Magazine called a “great bike for a reasonable cost.” He’ll have Mettles to test ride, even race if you want to try one out. He’ll be at Melas from 8am to 4pm with a break to use his own Mettle in the 45+ race.

– And finally… Juniors, or more to the point their parents… if you have pre-reg’d and shown up to race and are due your entry fee “refund” and would rather donate those monies to a youth program such as West Town Bikes or Blackstone Bikes, please let us know and we can make that happen.

– With a couple minutes taken off the lap times from last year, the PSI-clocross for Life course was still able to throw a bit of everything at racers.  It was the first time we’d seen sand in the series, and it showed as there was a lot of reshuffling there.  Heckle Hill was another place that a lot of movement took place, some ran, some rode, and others tried to ride, gave up and figured maybe it was best to run.  Either way if you were doing something wrong you were sure to hear about it from the bullhorn in the PSIMET tent.

In a showing of the talent being drawn to the races, we saw both elite podiums represented by 3 different states.  We had a fresh name in front the men’s 1/2/3 field with Kevin McConnell (Mercy Specialized) from Iowa taking the victory ahead of David Lombardo (Verdigris-Village CX) and Ian Haupt (Milwaukee Bicycle Company Racing).

In the womens field Samantha Schneider (TIBCO/To the Top) is batting 1000 as she grabbed her 2nd win, Brittany McConnell (Mercy Specialized) moved up a step from last week to 2nd this time, while Sydney Guagliardo (Verdigris-Village CX) rounded out the elite podium. Full results are here and here and updated series standings are here.

– Next up the CCC heads to the Indian Lakes Resort in Bloomingdale, IL for the series’ one and only double weekend hosted by South Chicago Wheelmen. Remember online pre-reg on BikeReg closes Wednesday night for both races, so don’t come crying to us on Thursday saying you missed pre-reg. But even if you do you will still be staged by your CCC series points if you reg Day Of.

Indian Lakes Resort has all the amenities you could ask for but more importantly there is a hotel. There are still rooms available and you can get the CCC discount using code (not the group code) “CYC” or “cyclocross”.

– Chris Henning and his crew are looking for volunteers to help run the Melas CX Basin Racin’ event. Sign up here and race for free and get lunch.

– Let’s have a quick chat about Internet trolls. We are well aware of everyone’s First Amendment rights to free speech, and we have never censored any comments here on the CCC site, nor do we ever want to do so. But just as you may not want to input your actual email address into the comments for fear of some sort of malicious spam bot somehow finding it and filling your inbox with junk, we’re pretty sure no one visiting this website wants to read your anonymous junk comments. So… if you’re going to post a ridiculously rude comment here on the CCC site, be man or woman enough to leave your actual name and email address so others can reply back to you directly. Otherwise head over to YouTube where the comment sections are priceless and your contributions will have a more appropriate audience. Thanks!

– For those of you already getting into the giving spirits of the holidays… check out the new World Bicycle Relief video: www.worldbicyclerelief.org/power. Just as in years past all donations made between now and 12/31/2014 are matched, up to $1million. The CCC will be donating all of the donations you the riders have donated through BikeReg in a lump sum shortly after the Montrose Harbor Illinois State CX Championships.

– And finally… The West Town Bikes (WTB) CX program has been providing sponsorship, mentorship and coaching to juniors and young adults that would otherwise not have the opportunity to participate in cyclocross events for 6 seasonsHere are some photos from our last 4 seasons.  The fitness and commitment that cyclocross requires teaches perseverance and provides a healthy energy output while skills, knowledge and friendships gained help form a socially intelligent, responsible and physically fit community member all while growing the sport.  Half Acre Cycling, Half Acre Brewery, The Bonebell, Chicago Cuttin Crew and Seth Gable have all been key in getting us through the end of last year and this season.  We have a Pactimo team store open, password is westtownbikes, as one way we are outfitting our team and raising awareness for the program.  Jerseys purchased through the store can go to the purchaser or be gifted to the program.  We need smalls and mediums of all types.  Many of the adults you see wearing the WTB jersey are volunteers or youth instructors in the organization.

Contact Michael Young 312-656-1953 or [email protected] for more info.  Looking forward to seeing everyone at Hilton Indian Lakes and thanks to the South Chicago Wheelmen for helping with race fees and donating cycling gear to youth in our programs.
